Things to do before your consultation

To help your consultation run as smoothly as possible, we have put together a checklist for our patients.

  • Please complete our new patient form before you arrive. If this is not possible, we ask that you arrive around five minutes before your scheduled consultation to allow time for you to fill it in.
  • Please consider your reason for booking a consultation with Dr Tickle and ensure you bring any relevant notes or documents with you.
  • Come prepared! We know how frustrating it can be when you get home only to realise you have forgotten to ask something during your consultation.
  • We respectfully request that consultations are paid for on the day and we accept cash, cheques and all major credit and debit cards (except Amex)
  • Please visit our FAQs page for further information.

Travel Health

If you’re off on your travels it is essential that you are properly vaccinated. Dr Elaine Tickle is delighted to offer travel health assessments and up-to-date advice on every aspect of travel-related health. All travel vaccinations except Yellow Fever are available at our Harley Street surgery.

What you need to know:

  • Dr Tickle offers a thorough 25-minute travel health consultation
  • Ideally, we would like to see you 6-8 weeks before you travel
  • If your trip is last minute, please call and we will do all we can to keep you safe
  • You are unlikely to experience any major side effects from travel vaccinations apart from the possibility of a sore arm and perhaps a feeling of being off colour for a few days. Full information about possible adverse reactions will be discussed at the consultation.

Taking the stress out of travelling

To allow a comprehensive assessment of your health risks and vaccination requirements please complete this travel risk assessment form that lets us know in advance when and where you will be jetting off to. This allows us to plan any vaccinations in plenty of time before you travel and also enables us to make sure we have stock for you. If you have had vaccinations in the past it would be helpful to have a record - space is provided for this on the form.
