About Dr. Tickle
Dr Elaine Tickle trained at the University of Liverpool qualifying as a doctor in 1996. She then served as a Medical Officer in the Royal Navy before completing General Practice training in beautiful North West Wales. As well as General Practice, her training concentrated on Care of the Elderly Medicine, Trauma, Paediatrics, Obstetrics and Gynaecology.
After qualifying as a General Practitioner, attaining membership of the Royal College of General Practitioners in 2002, Dr Tickle moved to Bristol where she worked as an NHS General Practitioner. During this time, she specialised in stress related illnesses and sexual health medicine, completing the Diploma in Family Planning and running several community sexual health clinics.
Dr Tickle moved to London to work in the independent sector in April 2007. She has a particular interest in practicing patient centred holistic medicine with an overview of patients’ physical, psychological and emotional needs governing her approach to each individual. She is committed to staying fully up to date with the latest advances in medical care and often uses individual and novel approaches to difficult problems as well as providing health and lifestyle screening and preventative strategies wherever possible.
